THE TOWN MP has praised an outgoing primary school headteacher as she approaches the end of her lengthy tenure.

Tracy Frackelton, headteacher at Crowthorne's Hatch Ride Primary School, has been in the post for 30 years, but will be leaving at the end of this year.

Ms Frackelton will be leaving to pursue other challenges.

In a ceremony attended by her colleagues, Dr Phillip Lee presented Ms Frackelton with a memento from Westminster and gave a short speech about her service to children's education.

Dr Lee said: “I have always enjoyed meeting with Tracy and listening to her ideas for education, built up (and I hope she won’t mind me saying this) over a lifetime’s experience in the profession.

"She leaves Hatch Ride in a wonderful condition and I should like to wish her all the best as she moves on to meet those new challenges.”
