A PORTION of The Lexicon will be used for housing.
Eagle House, the building above Pizza Express and Nando's in The Lexicon, will be developed into 84 new homes.
Work will begin immediately on the new homes, and the project is scheduled to be completed within the next 18 months.
The apartments will be ranging from studios to two-bedroom homes, and will be right on the doorstep of The Lexicon.
Simon Russian, development manager for Legal & General on behalf of Bracknell Regeneration Partnership, says: “We are delighted that Thomas Homes, with its strong reputation for building quality but affordable homes has purchased Eagle House.
“We are confident that prospective local buyers will be impressed with the attention to detail on the apartments and its location.”
This will be the first section of the new town centre which will be converted to housing.
