A CAR CRASH outside The Lexicon left two people in hospital.

Yesterday at 12:30, firefighters from Bracknell Fire Station were called to the road traffic incident outside The Avenue car park.

A member of the fire service confirmed: "At around half past midday we were called to a car crash outside the entrance to The Lexicon.

"The incident occurred when one of the cars jumped the red lights and smashed into the other.

"Two people were taken to hospital, but both cars were made safe, we didn't have to use any of the cutting equipment.

"One lady, a passenger in one of the cars, was complaining of neck pains so was taken to hospital as a precaution.

"I think one of them was a Ford Focus, and the other was a Vauxhall Corsa."

South Central Ambulance Service released the following statement: "We were called at 12.14 yesterday (2/11/17) with the caller reporting a two car collision outside The Lexicon on The Avenue, Bracknell.
