A POPULAR Bracknell pub has reopened after a large scale refurbishment.
Around £130,000 was spent sprucing up the The Prince of Wales in Priestwood.
The revamp appeared popular with the first drinkers through the doors as they filled the bar to capacity on Friday evening.
The pub features a patio, garden and pool table area complete with televisions.
Landlord James Graves said: "It was partly funded by Greene King, partly funded by myself.
"It was very neglected. Very tired looking. It looks wonderful now."
Bracknell Forest Mayor Tina McKenzie-Boyle was on hand to officially re-open the pub, and even poured herself a drink.

"I think it's a great improvement," she said.
"It's obviously very popular here already with families. The youngest person here is five weeks old and his name is Dylan. Perhaps Dylan will be able to take his own children here in 25 years time.
"It's a lovely, lovely place. The garden is great, it's safe for the children and it's now wheelchair accessible. All in all we wish it every success.
"It's going to be good for the community, you can see already how the people like it, and they're going to continue to do so.
"In every way, the change is excellent. It's so nice and clean, it's very user friendly."
