A brave new advertising campaign has been launched by Bracknell and Wokingham college.
The college is seeking new applicants for its next wave of 16-19 year-old full time learners, and has decided to target the youth market through the use of memes.
The images feature alpacas, otters, and a pig, with puns surrounding the cute animals.
The College intends to plaster the advertisements across the community on busses, posters, Facebook ads and billboards.
Natalie Wilson, a 17 year-old from a rival sixth form college, said: "They're cute animals, but they're not funny.
"It doesn't even work, I just don't think it's going to make you want to apply.
"I'd avoid that college. It's a three or four out of 10 on that one.
"They should be advertising things to do with your actual education, not just jokes."
Another college student, 16, said: "I love the animals, it really catches my interest."
Memes are becoming increasing visible as a means of communication.
Last month President Donald Trump posted a gif of himself beating up a CNN logo.
