THE first of three new resident hubs will be launched at a Windsor Community day.

The hub will allow residents to speak to council officers at a time and place that suits them, with Windsor Library to become the first to allow residents to access a whole range of key services.

The service will officially launch at the Windsor Community Day on Saturday, May 27, before formally starting on Thursday, June 1.

Jacqui Hurd, head of library and resident services, said: “Our libraries are already incredibly well-used and we look forward to being able to provide even more services from the three new hubs.

“The Windsor Community Day offers a perfect chance for us to welcome in the first customers to use from this new service.”

The range of advice and services which can be accessed at the new Windsor hub when it officially launches on Thursday, June 1 includes: council tax, benefits, green waste, reporting a missed bin collection, assisted and special waste collections, street-lighting, potholes and fly-tipping reporting, housing, parking, planning, school admissions, environmental services, licensing and blue badges.
