A CORDON has been lifted in Birch Hill following a fire and the discovery of explosives.
Residents were evacuated from their homes in Juniper on Wednesday after a fire broke out.
A police team visited the house yesterday and safely removed suspicious items which had been discovered.
A spokesman for Thames Valley Police said: "We would like to thank those affected by this incident for their patience and support.
"Officers are remaining in the area making enquiries and anyone with any concerns can speak to an officer on the scene or to call the neighbourhood team via the 24-hour Thames Valley Police enquiry centre on 101."
