A 25-year-old man was punched in the face and mugged as he stopped to repair his flat tyre in Bracknell.

At around 11.50pm last Wednesday, the victim was fixing his tyre in Swinley Road, when a black BMW, possibly a 3 series, drove past him before reversing and stopping next to him.

Two men then got out of the car and punched him several times in the face.

They then stole money from him before getting back in their car and driving off towards Bagshot Road.

The pair are described as black, with short 'box-cut' style hair and were wearing black jackets and jeans.

One was wearing Nike trainers and the other was wearing black and red trainers.

The victim sustained minor facial injuries but did not need hospital treatment.

Investigating officer PC Kyle Seaton, a response officer based at Bracknell police station, said: "We would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed this incident or who has any information that could help with our investigation."

Anyone with information is asked to call Thames Valley Police on non-emergency 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
