Travellers to be removed from field near South Hill Park
POLICE are currently at North Field near South Hill Park monitoring the removal of a travellers' camp after it pitched up yesterday afternoon.
Three caravans arrived on the field off Ringmead yesterday (Tuesday) at around 1.50pm with more arriving throughout the day.
Bracknell Town Council and Thames Valley Police are working to remove the group throughout today.
Russell Reeve, Bracknell Town Council clerk, said: "They have been served with a notice this morning and through today we expect the travellers to be leaving.
"There is action from the police to make sure that happens."
