A DEBATE for those still undecided about how to vote in next month's EU membership referendum has been planned for undecided Bracknell residents to attend.

Organised by MP Dr Phillip Lee, four expert speakers have been roped in to provide the key information needed to make an informed decision on whether Britain should remain a part of the European Union.

The debate will be politically neutral, a reflection of Dr Lee who has also not revealed his own feelings about the referendum which is due to take place on June 23.

Dr Lee said: "Although many people in the Bracknell constituency have already decided to vote for either ‘Leave’ or ‘Remain’, many others are, as yet, undecided. In order to help those looking for facts and reasoned arguments as to the merits of our membership of the EU, I will chair a public meeting at which constituents will be able to hear from, and ask questions of, people from both sides of the debate."

The event will be held at the Christopher Lee Theatre in Wellington College on Friday, June 3.

Leading analyst and author Professor Julian Lindley-French and the director of the Centre for European Reform Charles Grant will provide the facts for the remain camp, while Ryan Bourne, head of public policy at the Institute of Econominc Affairs, and Anna Firth, founder of Women for Britain, will be on the leave side.

The event is specifically designed for those who are undecided on how to vote, those who have made a decision are asked not to attend to free up space for others at the event.
