AN emergency vet had to be called to treat a dog injured in a car collision in Bagshot Road last night.
Emergency services attended the scene at around 9.50pm last night (Wednesday) when a recovery truck collided with a red Toyota at the Sainsbury's roundabout.
Two ambulance crews attended and treated the female driver, aged in her twenties, for head injuries before taking her to Frimley Park Hospital.
The woman'spet dog, also in the car, is currently being cared for by police though its current condition is not known.
Firefighter Chris Jones, of Bracknell fire station, said the recovery truck collided with the side of the car, known as being 't-boned'.
He said: "The car got t-boned. The female driver was treated by medics."
The driver of the truck was unharmed in the incident.
Hannah Jones, spokesperson for Thames Valley Police, said: "We were called just after 9.50pm to reports of a collision involving a car and a recovery truck on the Sainsburys roundabout.
"The woman in the car was injured and ambulances attended and took her to hospital. A vet was called for the dog."
