TWO pensioners were left needing medical treatment following a suspected carbon monoxide leak at their home.
A crew from Bracknell fire station rushed to the incident in Broad Lane at 2.15pm, following reports of two elderly people in need of medical attention.
Crew manager Steve Borham confirmed the pump was at the scene for around an hour.
He said: "The property had the boiler and the gas supply isolated and the property was ventilated and the couple were left in the care of the ambulance service.
"The property was left safe and secure and the pair were left waiting for the gas board."
People are advised to ensure they have carbon monoxide alarms fitted in their homes to detect potential leaks.
