A SPATE of thefts around Bracknell, which has seen furniture, tools bikes and plumbin equipment stolen, has led police to appeal for information.

Witnesses are urged to come forward following seven separate incidents in the central south area of the town.

Between about 10am on Christmas Eve and 12.15pm on Sunday, January 3, thieves broke their way into a storage garage in Harcourt Road where a number of pieces of furniture were stolen. 

Between about 7.30pm and 8.45pm on Monday January 4, crooks forced their way in to a shed in Spoonbill Rise in Jennett's Park where some tools were stolen.  

Between about 7.30pm on Monday January 4 and 7.30am on Tuesday January 5, would-be thieves broke into a shed in Sparrowhawk Way but nothing was stolen.

Between about 6.30pm on the Monday and 8am on the Tuesday, crooks  forced their way into three sheds in Eagle Way.

Two bikes were stolen from one of the sheds but nothing was stolen from the others. 

Between around midnight on Christmas Eve and midnight on Monday January 4, thieves got into a business unit in London Road, which they stole plumbing equipment from. 

Investigating Officer Sgt Helen Kenny, Neighbourhood Sergeant based at Bracknell police station, said: "We believe that these incidents may be linked and are keen to hear from anyone with information that could assist us with our investigation.
