BRACKNELL'S MP has caused a stir on social media this afternoon after being accused of 'brown-nosing' during his appearance on today's Prime Minister's Questions.

Standing in the House of Commons, Dr Phillip Lee spoke about the economic success of the Bracknell constituency, claiming the number of those on job seekers allowance and youth unemployment has fallen to just one per cent.

With the £240m investment in the town centre regeneration, full employment is a 'genuine possibility', he added.

However he has been criticised by some for asking a 'leading' question with one Twitter user, Ian Mancor saying: "Now we've got a Tory brownnosing from Bracknell asking a planted question. Disgraceful and pathetic!"

Dr Lee's question asked: "Does the Prime Minister agree with me that it is the government's sound stewardship of the economy that has led to this economic success in the Bracknell constituency?"

Mr Cameron responded that he was 'delighted' to hear about the constituency's success before praising the Conservative government's 'long term economic plan'.

The question prompted some sharp feedback on social media.

Dr Lee refused to respond to the News request for a comment in relation to the response on social media.
