EMERGENCY responders have been called to a car accident in Bracknell that closed a section of Birch Hill Road.
Fire and ambulance crews were called to scene at 15.40 after a crash involving three cars.
One person was trapped in a car and had to be cut free by firefighters.
Bracknell fire station crew manager Scott Pay said: "There were three cars involved. They had to cut the roof off one car to get a woman out.
"The crew were there for about an hour and were called at 3.40pm. One pump from Bracknell and one pump from Crowthorne attended the scene."
A spokeswoman for Southern Central Ambulance Trust said: "We were called at 15.40 and we sent one ambulance to the scene.
"We have been treating two patients from one car.
"One patient was trapped in a car. Another female from the same car was being treated for chest pain."
The woman cut from the car was taken to the Royal Berkshire Hospital in Reading.
