A MAN missing several teeth who stole money from an elderly woman's bank account is being sought by police.

The 70-year-old victim was unpacking shopping inside her home in Rosehill, Binfield at 2pm on Wednesday, October 21.

A slim man in his early 30s waved to get her attention from over her back fence.

She left her back door ajar and went to talk to him. Speaking in broken English he asked her to read a piece of paper he held with a map on it.

After a while she said she was cold and went back inside to get a coat. She locked the back door before returning to the man.

After he left, the victim returned to her house and discovered that a number of bank cards had been taken from her purse.

The missing cards were later used to withdraw funds.

An e-fit has been released of a man police would like to talk to about the crime.

The man was described as 5ft 9ins tall with short black hair with grey flecks. He had a short beard and was missing several lower front teeth.

He was wearing a red check shirt and a navy blue jumper.

Investigating officer, Det Con Robert Hill from Force CID based at Maidenhead police station, said:  “If anyone recognises the man in the e-fit or has any information about this incident then please contact me via the 24 hour Thames Valley Police enquiry centre on 101."
