Households urged to contact police hunting distraction burglar
RESIDENTS in Binfield who may have been targeted by a distraction burglar have been urged to contact police.
Credit cards were stolen from a home in Rose Hill yesterday (Oct 21) after a man knocked on the door asking for directions in what is suspected to have been a 'distraction burglary'.
The incident occurred at around 3pm, it is not known how many more houses were targeted and a description of the man has yet to be released.
There may have been more than one person involved in the burglary.
Residents who have any information should contact police on 101 and ask for PC Hill.
