Fire fighters had to rescue a woman from her car in Bracknell today after a smash involving an HGV lorry.
Crews from Bracknell, Wokingham and a heavy rescue unit from Dee Road in Tilehurst, were called to the incident in Downshire Way at 12.45pm after the accident involving a driver of a green Toyota and a Mercedes gravel lorry.
Crew manager at Bracknell station, James McMullen, said that the lorry was already out of the vehicle when fire fighters arrived, but they had to help paramedics get the woman out of her car, though no cutting equipment was needed.
