THE results of a post mortem examination on the man found dead in South Hill Park yesterday are expected later today.

Police were called to woodland just south of South Hill Road early yesterday morning after a man's body was found in the middle of the nearby children's play area.

The body was found at 6.12am but delays in covering it up meant pedestrians, cyclists and drivers saw the remains on their morning commute.

Police are treating the death as unexplained. They shut the road for 10 hours from 8am as forensic experts combed the scene. The playground remains cordoned off.

Officers were stationed around the playground throughout Wednesday.

Chief Inspector Dave Gilbert, local police commander for Bracknell Forest, said: "Thanks to local residents in the Bracknell area for being so supportive of our officers on scene watch over the last 24 hours.

"I know it has meant a lot to all of the officers working hard to serve our local community at this time."
