A 40-year-old man has been bailed after a fatal crash in Bracknell in which a cyclist died at the scene. 

The man was arrested on Wednesday, July 19 following the accident in Bagshot Road, on suspicion on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and failing to stop.

Emergency services were called shortly after 10am to the incident near the Horse and Groom Harvester restaurant following reports of a collision between the cyclist, a 68-year-old man and a silver Audi A3.

Police closed the road for more than four hours while ambulance crews and police investigated the scene, as well the air ambulance which also attended. 

The 40-year-old driver, from Surrey, has been bailed until Friday, August 28.
