BRACKNELL Town have been given a huge boost with star striker Shane Cooper-Clark re-signing with the Robins.

The prolific hitman scored 34 goals last season, and also notched up his 100th cap.

In total he has 65 goals for the Robins, and despite interest from a number of rival clubs, he has decided to stay at Larges Lane.

Goalkeeper Gary Aulsberry has also committed for the coming season, having made 27 appearances out of the last 28 games during the previous campaign.

Captain Sam Whiting has left to join Southern League side Fleet Town.

Robins began their pre-season campaign with an excellent 4-0 win against Hayes & Yeading Under 23s on Saturday. Jordan Rowland, Jake White, George Lock and Cooper-Clark scored the goals.

Bracknell travel to Guildford City on Saturday (3pm) before hosting Maidenhead United on Monday (7.45pm).

<strong>l BINFIELD FC</strong> have confirmed the signing of former Reading Town goalkeeper Nathan Silver.

Capturing the ex-Oxford United youth player is a major coup, according to manager Roger Herridge, who said: “Nathan has always impressed me whenever I have watched him play.

“He is an excellent shot-stopper, has good hands, commands his box well and his distribution is first class.

“In my opinion he is one of the best keepers at this level locally so I am very happy he has decided to join us.” Herridge has also announced the signing of midfielder Jordan Polston.

Binfield lost to Camberley 5-0 on Saturday, having beaten Badshot Lea 2-1 on Tuesday of last week.

The Moles are due to visit Windsor this coming Saturday (3pm).
