<span>A PENSIONER has been forced to move out of her home after a burst water tank destroyed the downstairs of her house.</span> <span>A PENSIONER has been forced to move out of her home after a burst water tank destroyed the downstairs of her house.</span> <span>A crew from Bracknell Fire and Rescue Service were called to a home in Lily Hill Road, Bracknell, shortly after 5am.</span> <span>They arrived to find the water tank had burst and the water was pouring out throughout the house.</span> <span>The hole in the tank was at least 6 inches wide, so crews had no choice but to empty the entire tank.</span> <span>The resident, an elderly lady, was taken outside and fire crews comforted her whilst they waited for a relative to come and collect her.</span> <span>A spokesman for Bracknell Fire and Rescue service said the water caused a lot of damage inside the home.</span> <span>He said: “ We were called to a flooding in Lily Hill Road just after 5am. The water tank had burst so all the water was pouring down the stairs.</span> <span>“The elderly lady has lost the downstairs of her house, we called a relative for her but she will have to move out.”</span>
