Video footage of the attacks were found on a laptop owned by Simon Mclaren-Tosh, of Bracknell Road in Warfield, after his arrest on May 12 last year, further investigation also found footage of people unaware they were being filmed and several indecent images of children. The 49 year old, a former member of the sport’s governing body the Hurlingham Polo Association, pleaded guilty to three sexual assaults on children under 13 years of age, one count of voyeurism and five counts of making and possession of indecent images of children when he appeared at Reading Crown Court on Friday.

He was first arrested on May 12 last year on suspicion of having indecent photos of children, it was not until police examined his laptop that they found footage taken by Mclaren-Tosh of the attacks on his three young victims.

He was arrested again on February 23 this year for the assaults and voyeurism offences where another examination of his laptop found one further sexual assault he had filmed as well as more indecent photographs and secretly-filmed footage.

The assaults took place between April and August last year, while the charges of voyeurism and indecent images relate to a period from January to August last year.

Investigating officer Det Sgt Jon Groenen said: “Firstly I would like to praise the bravery of the victims and their families for fully supporting this complex investigation. I would like to thank them on behalf of Thames Valley Police for their patience through a very difficult time. I am pleased for them that justice has been done.” Mclaren-Tosh, who was married with two children, denied five counts of sexual assault on a child under 13 years when he appeared at Slough Magistrates’ Court in March, but will now be sentenced for the crimes on June 12.
