Amanda Johnson joined Dormy House care home in January 1995 and has built up an excellent reputation as a senior carer for elderly people living with dementia and physical disabilities. She was presented with flowers and a bottle of champagne to mark her milestone 20th year in the care industry and said: “I have been very fortunate to work with such wonderful people and I especially enjoy caring for our residents, which is why I love my job so much. I feel quite devoted to our residents and I hope to be working here for many more years to come.” Dormy House is located near the world-famous Sunningdale Golf Course and is home to around 88 elderly residents with specialist needs. Julie Mason, operations director at Dormy House said: “Amanda is clearly devoted to the residents she cares for and she works to a very high standard in ensuring everyone’s needs are met.

“Her passion for her job is evident and she is committed to providing high quality care.

“I am delighted she is celebrating her 20th year at Dormy House and we look forward to many more!”
