Author Vinika Lakhiani went along to the school last Thursday to read her story, The Lost Little Rabbit, to the children who afterwards enjoyed an afternoon making bird-feeders.
Sam Cornish, owner of the nursery, said: “It went well. All the children really enjoyed the story and liked listening to somebody new read to them.
“Vinika could explain the story and talk about the characters, so it was really nice.” The story follows a young rabbit who wakes up lost in a forest. Despite being scared, he makes lots of new friends as he tries to find his way home.
