Heatherwood & Wexham Park Trust appoints new medical director

Heatherwood & Wexham Park Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust has appointed a new medical director.
Dr Rob Loveland, Consultant Anaesthetist and Clinical Director of the Intensive Therapy Unit, takes over from Dr John Wiggins, who is stepping down at the end of March after three years in the role.
Dr Loveland, who has worked at the trust for nearly twenty three years, takes up the post from April 1.
He said: "I am delighted to be able to take on this challenging role and to have the opportunity to provide medical leadership to the trust in very challenging times. I hope I can play a key part in helping the trust to continue to provide safe, high quality services for patients and develop a culture of trust and openness across the whole organisation."
Trust chairman, Mike O'Donovan said: "This is a critical time for us and I know that Rob will provide the strong clinical guidance we will need, both for his colleagues and the board."
