A MAN was taken to hospital after a car crash near the Windsor Great Park last night.

Firefighters from the Bracknell and Windsor station were called to the 'peanut roundabout' on Windsor Road, Ascot, at 7.45pm last night.

Firefighters had to cut the 47-year-old man out of his Vauxhall Corsa after he was involved in a three car crash.

Windsor crew manager Les Lacey said: "We cut him from his car after he was complaining of neck injuries."

The man was taken to Wexham Park Hospital and there were no other injuries in the incident.

Firefighters left the scene at 8.30pm.
