SUNNINGHILL Road in Ascot has reopened after a car crashed into a lamp post.
Police closed the road near the 'peanut' roundabout at 2.55pm today when a black Renault Megane crashed into the post, leaving it hanging in the road.
Officers have now cleared the lamp post and the road re-opened at 5.40pm.
The female driver of the Renault was unhurt.
