A TWO-car crash blocked an entrance to Heatherwood Hospital this morning (Tuesday).

Staff at the Ascot hospital opened another entry way after a collision between a black Jaguar and blue Audi at the junction of Brook Avenue and Kings Ride at about 7am.

The male driver of the Jaguar suffered minor injuries and had to be freed from his car by paramedics and firefighters from Crowthorne and Camberley stations.

The woman driving the Audi was not injured.

Thames Valley Police said the road remained open but cars were not able to get in or out of the Kings Ride entrance until 7.40am.
