DATES for a consultation into healthcare changes in Ascot and Bracknell have been confirmed.
The consultation was given the go-ahead by board members at Shaping The Future - which is leading the shake up - and the NHS South of England Strategic Heath Authority gave final approval to the plans today.
Shaping The Future can now confirm that consultation will run from October 15 to January 31.
It will focus on proposals to move minor injuries from Heatherwood in Ascot to Bracknell, carry out rehabilitation services in the community instead of at Heatherwood and permanently close the Ascot Birth Centre, shut a year ago due to staff shortages.
