AUTUMN was welcomed in by the children of Meadowbrook Montessori School who celebrated Harvest with a performance.

During lessons children at the Bracknell Road school were introduced to the importance of gathering fruit and vegetables at the end of the summer period.

Mothers of two of the pupil’s gave performances on the piano and violin after which donations were collected for the foodbank in Bracknell.

Prior to the event the children had gathered apples from the school grounds and made jam, which was shared during a breakfast of porridge and toast after the recital.

Barbara O’Sullivan, Head of Pre-Primary said, “There was such a lovely community feel as our school shared music, and food at this important time of the year.”
