MINI fire men and women in the making went down to Ascot Fire Station for a fun-filled day on Saturday, August 19.
Running from 10am to 4pm, the Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue crew showed families the ropes at the Station Hill base.
Spokesperson Joanna Bromham said: "The open day was fun for the whole family and provided the perfect opportunity for the community meet their firefighters.
"During the event there were various demonstrations which included the chip pan unit which highlights the dangers of cooking with oil.
"Visitors also got a tour around the fire engines.
"Thank you to everyone who attended."
