AN early hours assault left a man with a head injury in Sunningdale.
At around 2.15am on Sunday, June 25, a 46 year-old man became involved in an altercation outside the Sunningdale Lounge Pub on London Road.
Officers arrived at the scene but not before the man was assaulted. He was taken to hospital and was subsequently discharged.
The circumstances of the incident are currently unclear.
Investigating officer Detective Sargeant Dean Brown, based at Maidenhead police station, said: “We are carrying out an investigation into this incident in order to establish the circumstances.
“If anyone witnessed the incident, or has any information relating to it, I would ask them to call the Thames Valley Police non-emergency number on 101.”
