A NEW garden show will be coming to Ascot next year after a partnership was announced.
The Racecourse will team up with The Savill and Valley Gardens from the Windsor estate and will launch the show from Friday, April 13 to 15 next year.
A former shows director at the Royal Horticultural Society, Stephen Bennett, has planned and designed the show.
He said: “This is a dream come true. Set on the sunny south side of Ascot’s grandstand, the new garden show will boast top quality horticulture with a terrific twist.
“And there will be plants for sale from specialist exhibitors at a key time of the year for gardening.”
Chief operating officer at the Racecourse, Alastair Warwick, said he was delighted with the news and said the superb facilities will make the two-day show memorable.
“The show will appeal to a wide range of our existing customers and those in the south-east region,” he said.
