A RECORD year for Heathfield saw the school achieve a 99 per cent pass rate with 91 per cent of students achieving A*-C and 75 per cent A*-B grades.
More than four in ten of the papers sat were also awarded the top A*-A grades with 91 per cent of the exams taken scoring an A*-C grade.
All students (100 per cent) achieved A*-B grades in English while 100 per cent achieved A* in further mathematics, 86 per cent were awarded A*-C in mathematics and an outstanding full house of candidates recorded all A*-A grades in every single modern foreign language: French, German, Spanish, Chinese and Russian.
Director of studies Marina Gardiner Legge, who becomes the school head in September, said: "These outstanding results which see our school’s A level performance improve year on year pay testament to the hard work of staff and students.
"I look forward to guiding Heathfield onwards as its academic performance continues to flourish."
