Police charged Christopher Byrne, 45, of Brockenhurst Road on Thursday with the section 18 offence following an incident on Wednesday (May 13) where a 30-year-old man was assaulted.
Police charged Christopher Byrne, 45, of Brockenhurst Road on Thursday with the section 18 offence following an incident on Wednesday (May 13) where a 30-year-old man was assaulted.
He appeared at Reading Magistrates’ Court on Friday (May 15).
Byrne has been remanded in custody to appear at Reading Crown Court on 8 June.
This assault took place at a busy time near a major road, officers are requesting that anyone who witnessed it and as not yet contacted the police could they please contact TVP on 101.
