The Deck converts the old Bentalls unit into a "vibrant" new covered public space with a host of new food and retail units linking the southern area of The Lexicon directly with Princess Square.

Currently, Hollywood Bowl is located in The Point in Skimped Hill Lane.

This site has 28 lanes so there will be eight less lanes in the town centre bowling site.

Cllr Marc Brunel-Walker, Executive Member for Economic Development and Regeneration, said: “I’m delighted The Botanist and Hollywood Bowl are the first names to be announced for The Deck as they will bolster what’s on offer in our town centre during the evenings, which is what our residents and visitors have told us they want. I’m sure news that these two entertainment brands will soon be part of the borough’s social and cultural heart will be greatly welcomed.”
