A YOUNG pedestrian remains in hospital with a life-threatening condition after he was hit by a car in Bracknell.

Emergency services were deployed to Priestwood Court Road at around 1.15am on Sunday, following a collision involving a grey hatchback vehicle.

A 20-year-old man from Bracknell has been arrested on suspicion of driving whilst under the influence of drugs and dangerous driving.

He remains in police custody. The victim, a 20-year-old man, had to be rushed to St Mary’s Hospital in London after he sustained serious head injuries.

He currently remains in hospital in a life-threatening condition.

Investigating officer police constable Benjamin Taylor, of Taplow Roads Policing, said: “We are appealing for any witnesses who may have seen or heard this incident.

“We would like to hear from anyone with any information.”
