A MOTORCYCLIST has died following a collision in Bracknell on Saturday evening.
Emergency services were called to Mill Lane at around 5.10pm following reports of a single vehicle collision.
Members of the public rushed to the motorcyclist's aid before paramedics arrived on the scene.
The air ambulance landed nearby, but despite their best efforts, the motorcyclist, a man in his forties, died at the scene.
His next of kin have been informed and are being supported.
A spokesman for Thames Valley Police said: "Anyone with information about the collision or dash cam is urged to cal Sergeant Justin Thomas via 101, and quote reference number 901 (18/8)."
A spokesman for South Central Ambulance Service said: "I can confirm that we were called at 17:13 to a road traffic incident involving a motorcyclist on Mill Lane, Bracknell.
"We sent to the scene the Thames Valley Air Ambulance, Paramedic Officer and Ambulance Crew to treat a male in this 40s.
"Sadly despite everyone’s hard work on scene the patient passed away."
