A SEAFOOD restaurant which has undergone a six-figure refurbishment held a special VIP evening to celebrate its reopening.

Loch Fyne, in Windsor Road, Ascot, closed its doors for a week for the refresh, which includes new furniture, lighting and flooring, and an extended bar area.

The restaurant officially reopened on Saturday, August 11, but held the special VIP evening on Wednesday (15) fir guests including the Mayor and Mayoress of the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead, Councillor Paul Lion and Mrs Laura Lion, local businesses, regular customers and bloggers from the area.

General manager Emma Daynes said: "We had a great evening welcoming the Mayor and Mayoress, loyal guests and local businesses, who were really impressed by our revamped scheme – myself and the team really valued their support for our VIP event.

"We’re hoping the Great British weather continues to stay ‘Fyne’ so guests can enjoy our extensive menu and enjoy the best of what Loch Fyne Ascot has to offer in the outdoor dining space too. We look forward to catching up with our new and returning guests very soon!”
