AN operations manager from Bracknell has been named the cream of the crop at a UK-wide awards ceremony.

Robert Newton, who works for Vorwerk, a German-founded household products company, has been named Customer Service Adviser of the Year’ at the esteemed UK Pride of Direct Selling Awards 2018.

Robert joined the company four years ago, originally joining as a Customer Services Team Leader and progressing through the ranks to his current Customer Services and Operations Manager role.

Over the years, he has supported the company's expansion, including the development of several new branches and the expansion of the company's head office in Ascot.

Rob said: "I’m delighted to have been recognised for such a great award! Often customer services can feel overlooked but, this award shines a light on the hard work of customer service teams and the important part they play in organisations. Customer Service Adviser of the Year isn’t just credit to my work but also to the whole Vorwerk team who support and inspire me every day.

“My award will take pride of place on the bookshelf alongside my wife’s awards, as she is a successful and exceptionally talented hair stylist. Compared to her, I’ve got quite a bit of catching up to do on the award front!”
