TALENTED youngsters from a school in Bracknell have won prizes at a science and technology fair.
Pupils from Brakenhale School, in Rectory Lane, travelled to Bracknell & Wokingham College to take part in the Science and Technology Day for gifted and talented students on Tuesday, July 10.
The Town mayor, Cllr Sandra Ingham, was in attendance and observed a variety of activities undertaken by the pupils from years eight and nine.
She said: "Science and Technology is a hugely exciting area providing the opportunity to change the world. Issues such as combatting disease, sustainability, managing the world’s resources, climate change and renewable energy are all challenges that can benefit from the work of mathematicians, scientists, engineers and medics."
