A CELEBRATION of all things arts and crafts is wrapping up in Wokingham this weekend.
The Wokingham Art Society's 63rd annual summer exhibition has been running since July 21, featuring works by many local artists in the fields of photography, drawing, painting and ceramics.
During a special invitation-only preview on Friday, July 20, the Mayor of Wokingham Borough, Cllr John Kaiser, and the Mayor of Wokingham Town, Cllr Julian McGhee-Sumner, were on hand to give out prizes, including Best in Show which went to Hilary Dancer for her painting 'Evening Glow'.
Sue Smith took away the award for Best Watercolour for 'Venice', while Nikki Carr took home the Paul Banning Award for Drawing for her picture called 'Kicking up a Storm'.
The exhibition is running daily from 10am to 5pm until Saturday, August 4 at St Paul's Parish Rooms in Reading Road.
