PUPILS at a special school in Wokingham celebrated the end of term with a prize-giving ceremony.
Pupils and staff at Barnardo's High Close School, which caters for pupils with special educational, emotional and behavioural needs, welcomed the summer break by celebrating their achievements from the past year.
The school's principal, Zoe Lattimer, presented awards to pupils who had excelled both in and outside of school over the past year, with proud parents and friends in the audience to cheer on the successful pupils.
Awards were given out for a range of achievements, including excelling within a subject, to special awards for non-academic achievements.
Ms Lattimer said: "The awards are a fantastic way to bring the school year to an end – celebrating just how much each and every one has achieved over the twelve months.
“I am so proud of the young people and staff here and what they have achieved."
