FOOTBALL fans celebrating or commiserating England’s result against Croatia tonight are being urged to enjoy the game responsibly.

More police officers will be on the streets to ensure that everyone remains safe to enjoy the game, which kicks off at 7pm.

This evening, revellers are expected to fill the streets of Bracknell town centre to celebrate the national side’s semi-final match against Croatia in the FIFA World Cup.

But Thames Valley Police is reminding fans that anti-social behaviour will not be tolerated.

Chief Inspector Colleen Lavery, of the Joint Operations Unit, said: “We are working to ensure that our local communities remain safe to watch the game.

“To report any incidents of anti-social behaviour, please call Thames Valley Police on 101.”

Alternatively, you can contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111. Please only call 999 in an emergency, where there is an immediate threat to life.”
