AN INJURED woman had to be cut free from a vehicle and rushed to hospital after a frightening collision between a car and a motorcycle.

Firefighters had to cut the roof off of the car after it was in collision with a motorbike by Moss End Garden Village near Bowyer’s Lane, Warfield.

The horrific incident saw a man 'flung' from his bike and crash down onto the tarmac.

He was rushed to hospital by paramedics but early signs indicated that the man was not seriously injured, firefighters said.

However, the passenger in the car suffered neck and spinal injuries as a result of the crash and also had to be rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Her condition is not yet known.

Crew manager Steve Borman, of Bracknell Fire Station, said his team were called to the scene at around 9.40 am this morning (Saturday).

He said: “We were called to a collision between a car and a motorcycle near Moss End Garden Village.

“We had to cut the lady from the car because she suffered spinal and neck injuries and she was taken to a hospital.

“The motorbike rider was flung from the bike and landed on the road.

“We were there for about an hour and a half.”
