What do you do if your home gets too big for your needs?

Some couples downsize. But Rob and Michelle Jones came up with a better idea, turning their beautiful Victorian mansion at Kings Ride, Ascot into an upmarket guest house with its own wedding licence.

Mr Jones, 53, caught television viewers' imagination last year when he appeared on the Channel 4 show Come Dine With Me, the show in which five enthusiastic 'foodies' cook a meal for the others in their own home.

Viewers relished the moment when Mr Jones' turn came to welcome the others to his own £5million home - which was clearly not what they had expected from the successful car salesman.

Mr and Mrs Jones have lived at 'Woodstock' 14 years, bringing up their sons Charlie, 16 and Archie, 11 there.

They run their home as an upmarket guest house - and have welcome such famous guests as Robbie Williams and Samuel L Jackson thanks to the property having its own heliport.

Now they have acquired a license to host weddings as well and have built a great reputation.

Mr Jones said: "We are fully booked with 14 weddings planned next week. We welcome everybody including same sex couples. Two Chinese men chose to get married here."
