AN INVESTIGATION has been launched after a young man died at the scene of a crash late on Friday.

Emergency services were deployed to Millennium Way, Bracknell, at around 11.45pm after a blue Volkswagen Golf was involved in a collision with a black Peugeot 2008 on the A329.

A 29-year-old man, who was driving the Golf, died of his injuries after colliding with a traffic signal post.

The man’s next of kin has been informed, while the driver of the other vehicle suffered minor injuries.

Investigating officers have asked for anyone who saw the crash to come forward.

Thames Valley Police also want to hear from anyone who has dash cam footage of the incident which could assist.

Police constable Kevin Rodney of the Joint Operations Unit for Roads Policing, based at Taplow, said: “I am appealing for anybody who may have witnessed the collision, or may have any dash cam footage to contact 101, quoting URN 1713 (18/5).
