WORK has begun on the Royal Wedding cake.
Baker Claire Ptak will be making the cake, which Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will cut into following the festivities.
The cake will be made of lemon sponge, with an elderflower syrup drizzled on the top.
Traditionally, Royal Wedding cakes are fruit based, like the one made for Prince William's wedding to the Duchess of Cornwall.
In this video, Ms Ptak explains how the cake was made.
