A MOTORCYCLIST was seriously injured at the weekend after her bike ended up on top of her in a road-side ditch.
The woman was heading towards Sunningdale along the A30 London Road close to Windlesham Garden Centre in Windlesham, Surrey.
Her motorbike left the road and she became trapped under the bike at the bottom of a ditch, Surrey Police said. She suffered serious head injuries in the incident on Saturday at around 6pm.
Investigating officers want to speak to anyone who saw it happen, or saw the manner in which the motorcycle was being driven between 5.30pm and 6pm. They are also keen to see any dashcam footage which may show the motorcycle in the minutes before the collision. It is not clear at this time which route the woman had taken to get onto the A30.
Anyone with any information is asked to call Surrey Police on 101, quoting reference PR/P18091475.
